This covers the cost (up to the benefit limit) of your portion of any pre-paid transport (e.g. flights), accommodation, and additional travel expenses that you cannot recover from any other source (e.g. refund from the hotel) if you cannot travel due to injury, illness, redundancy or requirements of HM Forces. Any cancellation claim caused by the illness of you, your travel companion, close relative or colleague due to a pandemic illness or any claim for personal quarantine is not covered during the first 48 hours of purchasing your policy.
